The long-running Doncaster Rovers’ internet supporters’ team the Donny R’sonists have launched a new club website, finally satisfying the ‘internet’ part of their name. The R’sonists were formed in 1998 by supporters to play at the WorldNET competition as a last hurrah when it looked like Rovers were set to cease to be. The club’s name was taken as a nod to the antics of former Rovers club ‘benefactor’ Ken Richardson. As Rovers have continued, so have the R’sonists and they continue to represent the club in the world of Internet Supporters’ football. indeed the side will compete in their 14th WorldNET tournament at the end of this month. The new R’sonists website can be found here.
