Transfer Rum-o-meter: Rovers Hot Shot to Trot

Doncaster Rovers may be yet to make a genuine move in the transfer market, but the word on the street near the Viva Rovers offices are that the club are poised to make ‘Hot-Shot’ Hamish Balfour their first signing of the close season. According to The Independent the Championship club are ready to offer a tenner for the player, described by many as being Nando’s Number 1 customer. Sources close to the player claim that he is depressed about the prospect of working with Sean O’Driscoll and Richard O’Kelly at the Keepmoat Stadium.

This Rovers related transfer rumour was created using our patent pending Transfer Rum-o-meter, with numbers selected at random by @ChrisWilki. Any relation born to a credible rumour is purely by chance, although should also make you doubt anything you read about transfers for the remainder of the summer. To create your own Transfer Rumour contact us on twitter @vivarovers with five numbers between 1 and 50, in any order.

  1. Just seen on twitter that Martin Woods saw Hamish at Nando’s, and a short fat guy with specs. Seems they think Mr O’Driscoll is a smart man, and made a cracking cup of tea. They were both looking at the flat rentals section of the Star. Don’t want to get anyone excited, but that short fat guy can only be ‘the’ Kevin Mouse!
