Rovers at Home if they Go Fourth

Doncaster Rovers can look forward to a home tie in the next round of the FA Cup should they overcome Wolverhampton Wanderers in next Tuesday’s replay at Molineux. In the fourth round draw, conducted live on ITV by Holly Willoughby and Louis Walsh (I don’t know, I didn’t watch, I’m guessing) Rovers were paired with the winners of the tie between Cardiff and Stoke, which has also gone to a replay.

The two cities played out a 1-1 draw at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday, as Michael Chopra’s opening goal for Cardiff was cancelled out by a Tuncay strike just before half-time. Like Rovers and Wolves the two will meet again in a replay to decide the tie on Tuesday 19th January. As the picture accompanying our article shows* Cup Fever has already gripped the Welsh capital. With the mouth-watering prospect of a potential trip to Doncaster up for grabs its bound to be a full house at the Cardiff City Stadium next week when Stoke visit.

The FA Cup 4th round draw in full;

Torquay United vs Crawley Town or Derby County
Watford vs Brighton & Hove Albion
Bolton Wanderers vs Wigan Athletic
Arsenal or Leeds United vs Huddersfield Town
Fulham vs Tottenham Hotspur
Everton vs Chelsea
Southampton vs Manchester United
Swansea City vs Leyton Orient
Burnley vs Burton Albion
Birmingham City vs Coventry City
Doncaster Rovers or Wolves vs Stoke City or Cardiff City
Notts County vs Leicester City or Manchester City
Stevenage vs Reading
Aston Villa vs Blackburn Rovers
West Ham United vs Nottingham Forest
Sheffield Wednesday vs Wycombe Wanderers or Hereford United

Matches to be played on the weekend of the 29th and 30th January
