Its not just Doncaster Rovers who have been adding to their squad this week as here at Viva Rovers we’ve made our own big name signing in the last few days. As regular readers will be aware for the best part of two years we have now been running our weekly Friday feature Viva Video in which we help you kill time in the office at the end of the working week with a piece of footage relevent to the Rovers or our upcoming opponents. At times, thanks to a lack of available footage, these links can become a bit tenuous, but we have made the effort to strengthen in key areas and so we are proud to unveil Viva Rovers’ newest signing, the much feted Rovers montage master; Dazza.
Having put together some impressive Rovers related videos on YouTube Dazza has gathered something of a cult following amongst Doncaster supporters, and gained much praise on the messagebaords. The twenty-year old Rovers fan has been putting together montages on the club for a few years now, indeed I used to have his Johnstone’s Paint Trophy piece on my myspace page. Remember myspace? It belonged to a simpler time, when you could leave your back door open without fear of being Facebook raped. Anyway, I digress. A week or so ago Dazza contacted Viva Rovers to propose that our Viva Video feature be the place to show-case his talent and how could we say no to that.
So, at Dazza’s request, this week’s episode of Viva Video brings you his most recent video. This Saturday will see Rovers first £1million man Billy Sharp play his first competitive game at the Keepmoat Stadium since becoming a permanent acquisition of the club. Here, courtesy of Dazza, is what Rovers paid out all that money for.
To see more of Dazza’s excellent and much admired video handiwork then try his YouTube channel, viewable here or simply sit tight as we’ll be featuring more of those videos on Viva Rovers in the near future.
