2009-10, match reports

Preston North End 1-1 Doncaster Rovers

If on Friday you’d have offered  Doncaster Rovers four points from their upcoming away games at Bristol City and Preston North End you would have been laughed at. Folk aren’t stupid you see, they know that you shouldn’t accept points from strangers, because for all you know they could be a weirdo. However, supposing we go along  with your points-offering rouse for a while, then yes, if on Friday, you had offered a Rovers fan four points from their net two games then they would have most certainly have taken you up on it. However, such is football, they’ll be many Rovers fans who will be disappointed they did not get even more.
