Four Draw

The one major comfort in Saturday’s postponement is of course that it means Rovers make a rare forray into the FA Cup 4th round draw. And what more incentive could Doncaster and Brentford fans want than a potential money spending tie against Millwall or Derby County. Thats what the ‘Magic of the Cup’ is all about after all, big win or bust matches against people you played a few weeks ago. I used to like Frank Skinner as well, but it was he who pulled out the Brentford or Doncaster Rovers ball to travel to the winners of the replay between Derby County and Millwall to signal a huge wave of indifference across South Yorkshire and West London (not to mention South London and Derbyshire too).

The FA Cup fourth round draw in full;

Southampton vs Ipswich Town

Reading or Liverpool vs Burnley

Millwall or Derby County vs Brentford or Doncaster Rovers

Bristol City or Cardiff City vs Leicester City

Stoke City vs Arsenal

Notts County or Forest Green Rovers vs Wigan Athletic

Scunthorpe United vs Manchester City

West Bromwich Albion vs Plymouth Argyle or Newcastle United

Everton vs Nottingham Forest or Birmingham City

Accrington Stanley or Gillingham vs Fulham

Bolton Wanderers vs Sheffield United or Queens Park Rangers

Ties to be played on 23rd or 24th January, television coverage and earlier round results depending.

Portsmouth or Coventry City vs Sunderland

Preston North End vs Chelsea

Aston Villa vs Brighton & Hove Albion

Tranmere Rovers or Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Crystal Palace

Tottenham Hotspur vs Leeds United
