A double header of international Rovers based fun this week. Having watched Brian Stock in midweek it seems only right to tread down this path. And given that Brian played so well in the Millennium Stadium we thought we would bring you not one video, but two. And the first of these is of Brian Stock’s performance for Wazles in midweek. As has been documented Stock came close to making a sensational start for Wales with a great effort early on. Those who missed it can see it again at the start of this video, and also revel in how well Brian Stock translates to German.
In the lead up to that Wales match Brian Stock was interviewed on the BBC website as having been told that he was the first Doncaster player to represent his country. This was something of an oversight, particularly as he is not even the first member of the current squad to represent his country whilst with Rovers thanks to Stuart Elliot’s cap for Northern Ireland against Georgia last year. In fact as John Coyle’s article earlier this week shows there have been a few. And our second video concerns one of them. Take a seat for ths one folks… its a Rovers player scoring an international hat-trick. Step forward Mark McCammon.
