Loan Lee

Graeme Lee is set to return to first team action earlier than expected by virtue of a loan spell with former club Hartlepool United. The Doncaster club captain has been out of action for the whole season with a succession of injuries; ankle surgery being followed by a neck strain and subsequent knee surgery, although how surgery to the knee is supposed to cure neck strain is anyone’s guess, but hey I’m not doctor.

Lee has only recently returned to fitness but with the current form of Adam Lockwood, Stephen Roberts and Matt Mills opportunities within the Rovers’ first team have been limited and the skipper has had to be content with an occasional place on the bench. However, this one-month spell at Victoria Park will give the defender chance to regain first team experience at the same level as he tries to help his old club stave off relegation.
