Op Greer

In many fans eyes Doncaster Rovers has long been the centre forwards graveyard, however it seems we may now be generating a reputation as the central defenders hospital. Stephen Roberts is only just back in the side after two injury blighted years, captain Graeme Lee is yet to feature this season and now Gordon Greer will miss the next three months.

Greer joined Rovers in the summer and immediately got in the swing of things with a fractured wrist before sustaining his current injury during November’s 0-0 draw with Brighton at the Keepmoat Stadium. With no sign of improvement Greer underwent hip surgery last week and now faces a lengthy rehabilitation programme before he will return to the first team squad
