Swans On

Rovers will now face Swansea City next Friday night after the League leaders crashed out of the FA Cup at the hands of Havant & Waterlooville. Thanks a lot Havant & Waterlooville… just when it looked like I was safely going to have a mid season holiday without missing a match, this bunch of amateurs had to go and cause an upset. Damn meddling giantkillers, shouldn’t they have been concentrating on their day jobs.

Anyway, Havant & Waterlooville’s 4-2 victory at West Leigh Park on Wednesday night means that instead of heading to Anfield next weekend Swansea will have to make do with a slightly less lavish Friday night at the Keepmoat Stadium. It’ll be the third game in a row that Rovers have faced a fellow top five side following Saturday’s 1-0 win over Carlisle and tomorrow’s trip to Elland Road.
