With Paul Heffernan out with ankle ligament damage; Millwall’s Chris Zebroski is being apparently tipped as a possible replacement. According to the Millwall fan’s website at vitalfootball Rovers are one of five different clubs currently interested in Zebroski who is currently on loan at Torquay United. As well as the Conference club themselves and Doncaster, League One’s south west trio, Yeovil, Swindon and Bristol Rovers are all keeping a close eye on the forward.
Twenty-one year old Zebroski has scored eleven goals for Torquay since joining the club on loan in the summer and has been a key part of the club’s promotion push. However, the player does not come without baggage; he joined Millwall after his contract had Plymouth had been terminated over an incident in which the striker glassed Argyle club captain Paul Wotton in the face. Wotton had allegedly been bullying Zebroski over a long period of time.
